October 30th, 2009 | Category: Uncategorized

That was relatively painless.

It required a database upgrade.

Long time no chat.

It’s been a long time, guys. Sorry for not saying anything the last two months. It seems that I have a habit of going into a hiatus after each chapter. If that seems frustrating, I apologize. I do have some good news and some minorly bad news.

1. I’m heading to college this Winter.

2. I’ve picked up a part-time on-call job as a tutor for American Sign Language at Shoreline Community College.

3. I recently did a full rewrite (Revision 3) of my Fantasia Arks: The Phasmatis Crisis script last night, and I am currently filling in a few holes in the script before I resume storyboarding.

4. The illustrations for the next chapter are done and in Manga Studio, but I still have to export them into Photoshop and finish some minor post-production.

This month, by the way, is Islamic History Month in Canada. I strongly encourage you to read Omar Dogan’s DA Journal Entry on this.

And now for the bad news: I have not been keeping up on my drawing skills lately, mostly because I’ve been preoccupied with helping other people! In addition, there most likely will not be any updates on this site for quite some time. I also got my hands on an Art S. Buck Anatomical Model for the purpose of helping me with dynamic poses in illustration. If you are planning on being a serious artist or illustrator, I recommend getting one of these! They are quite flexible.

Also, if I manage to get more time into sketching, I’ll try to scan them into the computer and post them up here and at my DeviantArt profile. Check back every now and then, please.

P.S. The website’s wordpress version is extremely out of date, and I plan on updating it sometime in the future. Maybe with ComicsPress. We’ll see…
