Three more pages before this volume is done, and then the project will be taking a vacation. I’ll be working on getting the book done so I can have it published via IndyPlanet.com, and then after that I’ll try to make some time to start working on Volume 2. Though I will want to experiment with a slightly different art style to help make it a more uniform book.

Adobe Photoshop is not cooperating, so I won’t be able to get it up this morning. Wait til’ this evening, guys. I had to reformat my PC last week, and took a bit of a half-week vacation that week to help myself decompress so I could get myself back on the book-making game. Progress has been slow, but hearty. I’m currently working on digitally inking a sketch I made in Manga Studio, as well as rearranging some pages so that I can cut the pagecount and save money on printing costs.

We’re not more than five pages away from finishing this chapter, and after that it will be a significant hiatus before the next chapter begins. I think this is actually a good way to take a break, mostly because I need to shift my priorities in 2009 to getting a job, finding a place to live, and making some money as well as getting my education.

And of course, finishing my book.
